Clairday began his career with Pizza Inn while still in his teens, helping his father, Pizza Inn franchisee Bobby Clairday, with the family's Jonesboro restaurant. Starting as a cook, the younger Clairday grew with the company, eventually moving into management following his graduation from Arkansas State University in 1983. In 1998, he became an Area Developer for the Arkansas region, providing store-level supervision and consultation. He currently serves as Vice President of Clairday Foods, a family-owned business based out of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and serves on Pizza Inn's national advertising board of directors (PIAP).
