Pizza Inn Announces Development Plan for Spartanburg, South Carolina

Agreement to Provide Chain with New Restaurant on City’s West Side

PIZZA INN, INC. announced the signing of a development agreement with Spartanburg, South Carolina residents Viren and Mina Patel to open a new Pizza Inn buffet on the city's west side by Fall 2007.

The 4,200 square-foot restaurant will feature the brand's new buffet concept, highlighted by family-style dining, a party room for group functions and a game room featuring today's hottest video games. The new restaurant will be located near Westgate Mall, in the Palmetto Village Shopping Center.

"We have a proud history of serving made-from-scratch pizza to the residents of Spartanburg," said Pizza Inn President and CEO Tim Taft. "We are excited the Patels have joined the Pizza Inn family and have been very impressed with the passion they have for the brand and the commitment to the community they will serve."

In addition to its new buffet features, the new Spartanburg Pizza Inn will spotlight classic offerings such as signature pizzas and pizzert dessert offerings. "For almost 50 years, Pizza Inn has been serving up great food and hospitality," said franchisee Viren Patel. "We look forward to serving Spartanburg's west side for generations to come."
